Felony Charge Over Trump Ecstasy Pills
Cops: Dealer caught with branded MDMA
AUGUST 18--Despite sagging poll numbers, the widespread perception that he is a racist con man, looming impeachment hearings, and the pathological lying, there are still Americans willing to pay for Ecstasy pills in the shape of Donald Trump’s orange skull.
So the 45th president’s got that going for him.
A 23-year-old Floridian is jailed on a pair of felony narcotics charges for allegedly possessing the opioid fentanyl and “five orange tablets in the shape of Donald Trump’s head marked Trump NL.”
The seized Trump pills appear similar to tablets that have been manufactured in Europe and have prompted “high dose” safety warnings due to their elevated level of MDMA.
Police found the drugs inside an air vent in the Clearwater apartment of Brendan Dolan-King. Cops went to the home “in reference to an overdose” and were given permission by Dolan-King to search the residence, according to an arrest affidavit. A police investigation revealed that Dolan-King “was possibly the person to provide the victim of the overdose with the heroin that he overdosed on.”
Pictured below, Dolan-King was charged Friday with the narcotics raps after lab tests confirmed that a tan powder seized was fentanyl and that the Trump pills contained MDMA. Dolan-King has been in custody since late-June--when the drugs were found--on marijuana possession with intent to sell and probation violation counts.
Dolan-King, a Long Island native, is serving an 18-month felony probation sentence following his conviction last year on cocaine and pot possession charges. He was also convicted earlier last year of possessing cocaine, liquid THC, and MDMA.
When collared last February, Dolan-King was not carrying Trump Ecstasy pills. Instead, he had five MDMA doses in the shape of Darth Vader, another iconic villain from the dark side.
Dolan-King, who is scheduled for arraignment tomorrow on the fentanyl and Ecstasy charges, once peddled “Trap Mob” sunglasses, according to an Instagram page that went dormant four years ago. “TrapMob apparel represents all the Trappers world wide,” the page declared, using street slang for drug dealers.
Also, since everything is political, while Dolan-King is a registered voter, he has not declared a party affiliation. (1 page)
